Green Dragon Burpless Cucumber is a hybrid cucumber variety that is always sweet and never bitter. Burpless cucumbers have no cucurbitacin, which is the compound commonly found in cucumbers that can cause them to be bitter and also cause one to burp after eating them. This variety is productive and very disease-resistant, including resistance to powdery and downy mildew. It is also known to be an early producer and quite cold hardy compared to other cucumber varieties. Plants produce heavy yields of 14" slender, long cucumbers that have a thin, dark green flesh. Trellising is not completely necessary, but trellising will provide much straighter fruit. Monoecious variety.
