Our Story

As I nested my first Home Depot tomato into a 3x4 bed filled with clay and surrounded by cinderblocks, I felt the magic. I was 14 and from then on everywhere I lived, I planted a garden. Fast forward a few decades, and I am sharing my love of growing with my community.

Local farming is the future. The food you buy grown on a large farm today is not as nutrient dense as the food your grandparents brought home to put on the table.  FMT Urban uses regenerative practices that feed the soil so that it can feed us.
